How often should I practice spanish in Kindergarten?
Kindergarten students have brains that are ready to learn new languages which makes this an exciting year to begin their language learning journey! At this point in brain development it is important that students spend time learning the language in an enjoyable way, as this makes the brain more receptive to learning something new and complex. All recommended links, were chosen with this goal in mind.
Additionally, although students will improve their language skills by practicing on this site, it is recommended that students only do so for as long as it is enjoyable (and only a few times a week). Plenty of time to rest and practice other important skills are also critical to a growing brain.
Please read the below descriptions of categories found on the site. The name of each category is a frequently used word in Spanish, and helpful for students to read and/or hear often.
Please keep in mind that while all links posted on this site are free, many do include advertisements. Please be sure to speak with your students on what is safe to click on, and what is not, as it will help reinforce our classroom discussion on internet safety.
